I'm kind of curious how much of the sequel needed to be reshot due to the tax evasion issue for one of the actresses. I heard through the grapevine that apparently the reshoots took around 2 weeks, which seems crazy short, especially if this post saying her character is in 40% of scenes (I presume just of the Empress Path) is true and that the sequel in total will have 1200 minutes.

I know in the traditional history that >!Shangguan Wan'er becomes present after Wu Zetian already became the Empress Consort and "dispatched" Wang and Xiao (alcohol may or may not be involved in the game lol), so it's not like she's there from the beginning with all the harem intrigue, but she did become Wu's secretary and drafted her edicts, so I presume she was a big presence afterwards.!< I know the Empress Path is apparently based on a VN, so I'm wondering for those that played it how much screentime she had.

So, I noticed Road to Empress II is coming, and I want to replay Road to Empress I again. I just bought it and finished it yesterday, and the one scene with the two brothers and you on the bridge where it says: do you regret your choices, will you drag your allies down to get your way, etc., seemed like... very important. More important than usual because it didn't seem like there was a wrong choice. And then when it asked if you meant your love confession as well? Like. Those feel very *important.*

If I were to replay and see all of the options would that ruin my game? I assume your game data would like, import over to Road to Empress II once it releases? Like with all the choices you made that were actual choices you made, and not the ones that ended in death/being kicked out/being imprisoned. IDK how that works. I haven't really played games with branches like this before.

I know the canon route is Li zhi, but since most people like Li Tai more I’m curious if the devs are going to take creative liberties and make Li Tai a solid choice for the player. And so do we know if he returns in the second game?
