I've had so many ideas for songs over the years. There's probably hours of ideas for riffs, lyrics and instrumentations that I've accumulated that I'm just now able to put to fruition because I got myself a DAW (Fender Studio). But whenever I try to actually put my ideas in there, it is nigh impossible to find something close to the sound I want, or get my software to cooperate, or be able to compromise with the materials I have at hand. I'm wondering if I should just give up entirely. Any tips? Thanks on advance.
