The boring little evening routine that actually stuck for me
I've tried different night routines, that lasted about four days lol
This is the first one that's stuck for a few months, very low effort
Around 9 I turn off the big lights and just use a lamp. Phone goes on the charger in the kitchen, not next to the bed. I make a mug of herbal tea (usually something minty) and read a few pages of whatever book I'm on. Some nights I write two or three lines in a notebook about the day, nothing soo deep
and that's it!!!
no 12-step skincare, no meditation app.
The thing I noticed is that after a couple weeks my brain started treating the lamp and the tea as the signal that the day is done
Anyone else have a really simple routine that worked better than the elaborate ones?
