Who is usually in charge of the markdown team at your store?
I work in BOH and a few months ago after complaining about the lack of hours i was asked if I'd like to come in early on Sunday to do markdowns. Of course I said yes and since then I've been scheduled every Sunday to do markdowns. Each time there was either the BOH supervisor or Lead as the person in charge. Well a couple weeks ago I was told I'd be in charge of doing markdowns from now on. I was at least expecting some kind of pay increase but when I checked it's still the same as when I started. I was wondering if other stores have just regular associates in charge of markdowns of if its supposed to be a supervisor/lead. I'm about to tell my store manager to get someone else to do it if my pay isn't going to be increased. How does this store think they can add on responsibilities and still keep paying you the same horrible wage you started with. Once I find a better opportunity I'm gone cause I can't stand working for this company.
