Hi! I’m rehoming some 2013-2015 MacBooks. FileVault/encryption were not used when using the laptops. iCloud’s was turned off, though I did not “erase local data” when turn off, I erased the ssd hard drives using disk utility - there was not secure erase option, only reformatting. I then reinstalled macOS on each. How secure is that process in protecting the data that was on the drives? Reading online suggests that TRIM makes it very hard to recover data - is that right?
