I have a sore spot above my lip. I was putting on my night cream and noticed that the right side of skin above my lip felt tender when I touched it. I thought it might be a zit and squeezed and it swelled up (I know i shouldn't have done that). I've never had a cold sore before and have tested negative for hsv 1 and 2 previously. I am freaking out, sanitizing everything in the house worried I am going to spread it and go blind or something. I can't sleep now.
