Hi everyone,

this is my first time doing Riipen Labs and I recently got accepted into the June 2026 cohort. However, I noticed they require “proof of enrolment for the Spring/Summer term” during verification.

I’m a University of Waterloo student and my Winter term officially ended on May 11, and I’ll be continuing school again in Fall 2026, but I’m not taking courses during the Spring term.

I’m a bit worried now and wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else before. Were you still able to participate? What did you use for verification / what did Riipen say?

Also, if someone ends up being ineligible for this cohort because they aren’t enrolled in Spring/Summer courses, does that negatively affect their chances for future Riipen opportunities?

Any help would really be appreciated 😭

I got a random text from an unknown number thursday from a 733 number, but instead of a normal message it was literally just a JPEG/image attachment that was 98 KB. I’ve never gotten this type of thing before and it honestly weirded me out a bit.

I haven’t gotten spam texts/calls in like 2 months, and the only thing that changed recently is that I started applying to jobs on Indeed again and have gotten spam calls over the past few days. I’m wondering if this is just random spam/scam activity.

I didn’t open the image fully, click anything, or reply. I just deleted the message since it was already in my Spam section. Has anyone else experienced random JPEG/image texts

I’ve been starting to plan my courses for Fall 2026 and was browsing the UW Flow listings. I noticed that while the Fall 2026 courses are now visible, the class timings haven’t been posted yet. I was hoping to plan my schedule around those times, so I just wanted to check and confirm if they’ll be added later. I understand it might still be early and that timings may be updated closer to the term. I was just a bit concerned since I also noticed that some Spring course timings aren’t visible either.
