A few days ago I felt a horrible itching, it started all over my body and then it focused on my genitals. I went crazy thinking it was HSV-2 until I had blood tests done and they came back negative (IgG). My question is, if the blood test came back negative, how effective is the blood test? negative 0.9 positive 1.1 results 0.53
Hi everyone(im 20 male). I already know I have HSV-1, but lately, I’ve been thinking I might have HSV-2 as well. For the past 3 days, I’ve been dealing with an itch in my genitals, butt, back, and legs. On top of that, my genital area feels a bit warmer than usual, almost like a localized fever. For those who started with itching, how many days did it take for the bumps or blisters to actually appear?
I'm currently taking lysine, which they say helps a lot with HSV1, and I'll also start taking zinc, which they say is good too.
