Hey all! I just got back from Japan and I absolutely fell in love with their curry. It’s different from then Indian curry I’ve had, and their addition of fried cutlets and other ingredients really won me over.

There’s a chain restaurant called Coco Ichibana and it’s some of my favorite food I’ve ever had. They have a bunch of spice levels and the highest I got was 8. Apparently, it goes up to 20, but 8 was hot enough to affect the taste and I wouldn’t want to go higher.

Anyways, long story short, I’m looking for a restaurant in the Des Moines area (or wider) that has comparable katsu curry. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Arigato gozaimasu!
