Balayage fail ?
Hi all, I need some advice.
I naturally have dark brown hair (first pic), and I recently asked for a honey blonde balayage. I showed the stylist several inspiration photos, but what I ended up with is very different from what I wanted, and I honestly don’t like it at all.
I got it done yesterday and I’m really unhappy with how it turned out. It looks like the roots weren’t properly blended/bleached and maybe just toned, so there isn’t a smooth transition from dark to blonde. I haven’t even washed it yet, but it already feels off to me and I don’t think the color suits me.
Since it was done just yesterday, I’m also wondering if I should wait a few washes to see if it softens at all, or if it’s still in that “fresh toner” stage where it looks harsher than it actually is.
Now I’m considering going back to brunette. Is this something that can be fixed or reversed without causing a lot of damage to my hair?
