meitselfcom.. Help! I stupidly bought what appeared to be a super cheap 'Korean' skincare product online
Apparently I also agreed to a ridiculously cheap add-on which in all honesty I can't remember doing but may have done (I had woken up and had been scrolling, and was still tired) The products were advertised for about $10
I ended up being charged $34.17 and $42.85 for 2 identical products. Then a few a few days later another $69.30 and another week later $69.97
When I contacted the company I they explained it away as currency conversion, shipping and additional shipping for the add on ( they arrived in the same tiny parcel!) While not exactly satisfied with their explanation for the first two charges it doesn't account for the further charges at all. The company is called figs, and the charges are to meitselfcom (not dot com, all one word)
I've contacted my bank before contacting the company and the bank said I was to allow them 15 days to reply. The final $69.97 hadn't happened at that stage (found it this morning) so I contacted the company again today.
I guess I'm asking if anyone has had any issues with this company before, did they get a resolution, or can anyone just offer any advice. I feel such an idiot for being naive and buying through an unknown company for a "bargain" product
