Nothing and no one in this world has value anymore. Every human is nothing but a dollar bill, a green piece of paper born to make more money so you can spend more money. We get shown ads 24/7. Driving, eating, groceries, music, restaurants, anything outside of my damn closet is constantly asking for money. Nearly 25% of what we consume is trying to get us to give it money. 2 hour movie? Here’s 35 minutes of us asking for more money than the $50 you spent to sit there and eat stale popcorn. Who am I kidding even in my closet I’m reminded that I need to buy new cloths because I have the same wardrobe from high school. I spend my entire life surrounded by something or someone begging something from me for some bullshit. I get a dozen scam calls a week trying to destroy me without even knowing me. We live our lives to make more money to quiet that noise. Want to get rid of the ads? Pay more! Why is it that the more money someone makes the less ads they receive, make that make sense. Sure let’s market to the people who can barely afford anything and leave the ones who a truly have money to spend alone. I am nothing more than a green piece of paper. I want to make friends? Pay to join this group where you will probably not meet anyone who isn’t a soggy piece of bread. Pay to go to the bar to meet your local alcoholics or sports cultists I can’t connect with in anyway. Your free options? Sit in a park where it’s creepy not to mind your own business. Go online and meet people who will never truly matter and are probably lying to you from the get go. Festivals or literally any local event? Pay for admission. We are nothing but vending machines in this world. Want to live? Pay thousands of dollars when you are struggling to even survive. Want to see the only people in your life? Pay to drive, fly, or take public transport. None of us have any semblance of worth other than the green grimy cocaine stained papers in your wallet. Want to make more money? Become a slave to the corporation, erase who you are per company policy, and give the corporation all your energy so you can’t actually use that money, whatever they don’t take that is. Dedicate nearly a decade of your life to protecting your community? Here’s crippling health issues and the middle finger. Want a family? Damn you better have rich parents with an inheritance. Oh you do? Then you better worship the ground your parents walk on despite the slime ball criminal they are because if they disappear you will never be able to support anyone but yourself. Does any one actually care? No. You voice this and are deemed certifiable. Get dragged away in restraints, enter one of the most depressing places in the country second to nursing homes, and forced to pay thousands of dollars to be stared at while you undress and judged by people who barely passed medical exams and are regretting every minute of ending up in behavioral health. If you don’t fake that you are happy as a clam then you never leave and get to pay even more. Oh you’re sad, here’s a bunch of medications that cost hundreds of dollars of dollars a month for the rest of your life and will only destroy any semblance of a personality you have. There is absolutely no lifestyle other than becoming a monk for something I hardly believe in that avoids this. Our society is a leech and there’s only so much a beautiful view can do to ease that. We live in a fucking paradox.
