Looking to potentially get some help with Instagram.

I went through a third party app to check who had unfollowed me, i was asked to verify my account through text, which was fine, then it locked me out for suspicious activity.

I then kept getting redirected to enter a new email because my email may have been compromised, when i did this i was still getting an error code.

Any advice? not sure if this is a 24 hour thing or forever.

I've had my account for about 14 years now, and never experienced anything like this. I'm looking to get it recovered because i have unsaved stories on there of my mom who passed a few months ago.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
