Self-shipping to Genshin Impact characters strongly (if not completely) feels like a losing game
This post, I think, is a combination of a rant and vent, and not quite pleasant for a first post, so I'm sorry. I just don't have that many friends who selfship like me that are available to talk to, nor do my posts on another platform get comments for suggestions, so I hope it's okay to say my concerns here. And this will contain some spoilers for the very recent Archon Quests. Please look away if you don't wanna see them!
I haven't yet played said quests myself, and have only looked for parts that involve my F/O, the Wanderer. That includes cutscenes he's in. It's not just the close involvement of characters (such as the Traveler and Nahida) that I'm jealous of, it's the looming fact that he may be (if not are) a variant of Raiden Mei from another game, Honkai Impact 3rd. It reads to me like he just has her hair color and stuff, that maybe his combat animations are similar to Kiana's as the Herrscher of Finality, however vague that is. And the fact that he appears at every final acts of quests... final... Finality. Get it?

You can't tell me hoyo didn't deliberately make it look so similar to [this](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K973bPHj7p5a2YBoumGRtC9NgbSKYWo8/view?usp=drivesdk), especially when Wanderer's ult itself looks like [Kiana's stomp](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gsGqjxPbVEx1uHIXnE-obgYOrAlqnT5d/view?usp=drivesdk) in another animation. But then again, I haven't played HI3 for myself, so I might have missed some details that prove me wrong. Either way, you can't deny that he and the Traveler or even Nahida and KAZUHA are so symbolically connected to one another. And that's where I'm most jealous at. It feels like the [OC I've made](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r7nMbQnVOBB7O4WK9Aep\_qJVG26FZtRF/view?usp=drivesdk) isn't worthy of being next to him because she doesn't look enough like Kiana (or has the same lore as her) to be paired with. How would I know about HI3??
How does anyone get over this weird pressure? I genuinely want to know because I'm sadly on the brink of giving up and focusing on other media. I really don't want to, but everything is just set against me. Not just the canon material, but potentially the community of the game.
