No faction yet, you become ruin raider and bonded by level 14 what a ride. I got my spark.

That was real, had to get the honeymead and rustmoss out for the occasion.

3 signets available in Act 1, I have videos of back peddling with Thorny Cestus and killing drauger on LVL 11, 30 str, 18 focus using abilities Charge and Dash. Ancient Axe gives 10 focus on hit which is crazy for using Charge, Dash coupled with fist. Used a some spell scroll stacks and traps to kill a few harpies to gain access to ruins

This playthrough was all about staying away from Factions and poking as far as we could, I only entered Nemeton and acquired leather armour there, shortly thereafter was captured and the Raiders offer leather. GG

Everyone seemed pretty pissed Chosen One pinched that Epic - except the player. I sacrificed a makeshift bronze sword, a stolen ram figurine, and a Lyra for +3 Mind, have +3 Mind on a ring - base focus to cast Dash indefinitely without learning any Mind. Improves traversing the world.

At level 10 with basic sword, axe, sling, shield, Thorny Cestus, Bloodthirsty Amulet, Flowcatcher Talisman.. I found this Leshen fellow, bear traps and throwing knives made it sweat yeah. That life steal attack the Leshen has was able to be perfect blocked but I'd rather come back here in 2 levels time with a stack of bear traps. I bypassed Remnant and cleared the Red Moor which allowed me into Nemeton, however I took the leather armour and left. Attempting to learn more about the world before join these factions they speak of. Was welcomed in Ruin Raiders, but stole all their paper work and items.

Is level 10 to early for Leshen killing? Avoiding google for first play except for information like "Do abilities crit?" and "does bleed stack?"

Playing Expert, no guidance, Advanced parkour, Knowledge Rank 8, pre level 80 with only Wakasa left to clear. 360hr save

2 aspects I negated in this game - being blocked by enemies and relying on adrenaline for power (ability spam).. while also understanding there are many ways to skin the shadows, I chose 2 for now.

Yasuke is straight raw damage, no abilities, sheath (unblockable), double posture, critical and healing, his gear is near perfect. Adrenaline for damage bonus.

Naoe has an ability, Evicerate, solely because light>light>heavy>energy slash>evicerate will one shot a Ronin. Vault while Sprinting (unblockable, applies Vulnerable) combo into energy slash with a Kusarigama with Tug of War for crowd control. Naoe largely borrows the same theme as my Yasuke; raw damage, adrenaline for damage bonus. Her gear is imperfect as of current via a tool statistic that is not applicable. Can be remedied with a better epic dress, pending find.

Despite playing Expert, I'm not an expert and just using my years gaming experience to cook with. Cheers everyone, enjoy.

This game is very difficult, and inaccessible for the average gamer. Required alot of planing and focus, after 400hours I'm ready for Awaji and know how to approach Ng+

Part of me respects that Shadows was unapologetic, in regard to how smart the player is required to be.
