Provided Fake Passport Copy
Just need advise from other redditors. I have a cousin who is in a complicated case with his passport renewal
context
parents niya separated
he used to live with his mom but upon turning 18 lumayas siya and went to his dad.
His original passport was with his mom and his mom does not want to give it
so his dad and him decided na ideclare lost passport and reapply
he collected the documents and asked one of his sisters if may copya sila ng passport niya, which they gave naman (sisters are in the US)
ito naging problema, it turns out ung copy ng passport na binigay was fake and naflag ng DFA and he received an email.
sa takot di siya nagapppear sa DFA and it has been 1 year.
by chance anyone who had the same experience about unknowingly provided fake docs sa passport application and ano naging steps?
