I started playing mid March and I just finished the 4.5 anniversary challenges 💐
Thanks to all the helpful tips from lovely people, I finished the 4.5 anniversary hard challenges and put my first golden item on!
At the start of the week I had tons of tulips and petunia, some snapdragons but zero orchids, salvia and primrose. I also missed both April and May community day so had none of the badges
Here are the tips I thought was vital to completing the missions for newbies like me:
At the beginning of the week I used a lot 150 common petals a pop to quickly bloom many big flowers to get some salvia, primrose and orchids. When I get the big flower I wanted, I go there whilst planting to collect the fruit. There was no way I could’ve done it just by actually planting flowers to bloom them, that’s just too much. But once I got some, I could get the flow chart flowing.
Thanks to the event boost, I plucked lots of new pikmins and released them for petals for me to gamble with big flowers.
Only feed nectars in short supply to pikmins with buds, you get 2 petals back!
I almost exclusively plant flowers when cycling. It’s much more efficient than walking in terms of how many flowers you get from the same numbers of petals. Also saves time!
I actually enjoyed the hard challenges. I’m so happy to have got all the community day badges I missed, also the ugly golden pants!
