Hi guys,
I recently discovered the Trek Domane seatpost flaw when trying to adjust mine.

Being an aerospace engineer, the design really bugged me — especially after seeing how widespread the issue is across Domane and Madone frames. So I machined my own solution, which has been working flawlessly for some time now.

The current prototype version is machined from brass to avoid galvanisation, but will be a lighter weatherproof material to match the original Trek parts weight.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue and needs one as I’m considering making a small batch if there’s enough interest.

Small bit of advice needed -

Hi all after having to drill out a very poorly designed internal seat post clamp on a carbon road bike a small witness mark was left from my drill.

The witness mark is a clean cut and 1.5mm deep ( the seatpost/ carbon wall is 3.2mm) would you guys recommend filling it with a certain epoxy (please recommend) or is this something which needs professional attention?
