Trainspotting and Kids
I saw Trainspotting last night the Valley Fair Alamo. Great movie. The crowd was perfect.
One odd thing, I noticed a Dad (I'm assuming) and two young boys walk in and sit in the chairs in front of me. The kids must have been around 10. I asked my friend if I should talk to the guy and we both agreed it would probably not turn out well.
They stayed until the big sex scene and then walked out (Shooting up was fine, apparently).
I have a 16 year old and there's no way I would take her to Trainspotting (not a prude, Trainspotting is just a fairly harrowing movie). I asked the manager and he said they did purchase the tickets on purpose.
