Two working women here looking to rent a 1BHK (or a 2BHK to share) somewhere in Ahmedabad. One of us works in Ognaj and the other in Makarba, so we're trying to find a middle ground that keeps both commutes reasonable.
We've been looking at areas like Satellite, Vastrapur, Bodakdev, and Prahlad Nagar — but genuinely open to suggestions based on what works for our offices!
**What we need:**
- Fully furnished or semi-furnished (AC, fridge, washing machine, bed/wardrobe essential)
- Female-friendly society (gated, with 24/7 security preferred)
- Budget: ₹12,000–₹20,000/month all-in
- Good water supply and lift
- Safe locality with easy access to autos/cabs (no personal vehicle)
- Owner direct preferred — no brokerage if possible
**A bit about us:**
- Looking to move in by end of May
- Open to long-term stay (11-month agreement and beyond) if the flat and society are a good fit
- We're flexible on exact area depending on commute feasibility

Which area makes the most sense given Ognaj + Makarba offices — especially without a vehicle?
Any specific societies or buildings worth asking around in?

Are furnished 1BHKs even realistic here or should we go for a shared 2BHK?
