What to do to prepare for this journey

Hello im 25 M 5’5 currently 200 pounds and body feels like it could be working better. My longest dry fast ever was 3 days and I felt great afterwards with no aches and pains or anything just hunger sometimes. Im starting from pretty much a lifelong diet of eating whatever. I vape also. I want to start cleaning my body and lose weight but I know that there is knowledge on how to start but its kind of hard to find. I dont wanna do this on whim and be doing it the wrong way and mess up my body or anything. How should start preparing for dryfasting to where im not just doing 1 every know and then and not getting any good effects. Any knowledge would be appreciated.
