Hi everyone,
I’m in a really stressful situation and hoping someone here might have advice or similar experience.
I sent very important visa documents via DHL (with tracking). Everything seemed normal at first, but then the tracking showed that the shipment was being prepared for air transport from Frankfurt Airport. Since then… nothing.
DHL started an investigation weeks ago, but I haven’t received any updates or meaningful response. It’s basically silence.
These documents are extremely important for my visa process, and replacing them is either very difficult or will take a long time. I’m honestly panicking at this point.
Has anyone experienced something like this with DHL?
- How long do investigations usually take?
- Is there any way to escalate this beyond customer service?
- Should I already assume the package is lost and start reapplying for documents?
