I paid the import fees on May 2nd and there hasn’t been an update since. It’s now May 21st. I’ve called DHL 3 times. The first 2, I was told it’s with customs and they can take up to 90 days. Wtf? The last and most recent call, they were going to get back to me within a couple hours and they did not. I absolutely despise using DHL! A year ago, they were great to use, I can’t say that any longer.
Has anybody experienced this before? I’m based out of nyc and I’m sending supplies to Syracuse . I had some supplies shipped in from Hong Kong via DHL express. once it hit customs I received a notification that I needed to write a statement saying what the goods were and how I planned to used them. This was Sunday night the goods reached customs and they were released on Tuesday.. DHL originally scheduled the package to be delivered on Wednesday but they told me it hasn’t been picked up from customs… I’m confused because jfk is a major hub or DHL so I’m confused and frustrated as to how nobody could pick up the package. I reached out to customer service and they said they had a miscommunication but in the middle of the night on Thursday I still see the package is still waiting to be picked up….no way they’re able to make this delivery today right? They completely removed the estimated delivery date
So I got a package sent from Nigeria to Canada through DHL express, paid customs fee and all. It was supposed to arrive on May 12 but I didn't receive any updates after May 6. I contacted customer service, they asked to send pictures of contents of the pacakge which I did. After one email per day and their warehouse search, they got back to me today saying the package is lost. Is there any way I can get this package? It's really important to me
I’m in Norway and I shipped a pair of New Rock shoes to my friend in Poland. I told my friend I’d keep track of the package but now this status popped up?? I asked friend and it could be because the address I used is a PO Box and might not be compatible with DHL’s route. I’ve waited a few days to get an update but so far nothing and atp I’m starting to get a bit anxious. This is my first time using DHL so I’m not sure what to expect and customer service hasn’t helped so far since it’s all automated. I’m hoping they send the package to a convenience store or something to be picked up. Worst case scenario they send the package all the way back to Spain..

DHL Express keeps attempting to deliver our packages to house number 6 in the Makroon Building, where nobody is present. Our correct address is house number 10, and our premises are located outside the Makroon Building.
The correct address is written on the package, and our postcode is 1016XP. Package comes from Hong Kong and must arrive to Amterdam, The Netherlands.
Our commercial space has two large windows with our company name clearly visible, so it should be obvious where the packages need to be delivered. However, the packages keep being taken to the wrong address, and then we receive a message saying: “We missed you.”
Of course we only have one body per person — we are waiting at the correct address!
This causes delays, wasted time, and problems for our business. We urgently ask DHL to correct the delivery instructions and make sure drivers deliver only to house number 10, postcode 1016XP, at our business premises.
Please do not deliver our packages to number 6 anymore. Our address is number 10, postcode 1016XP, and our company name is clearly displayed on the large windows.
I am shipping a package within Germany, and I wrote the address correctly on the package, which I have confirmed with the receiver today via a picture of the returned package. I am told (by German colleagues) that because I put a slash through my zero (a common practice internationally to distinguish a 0 from an O), the German delivery driver might not have read the address correctly.
Is this something where I can take the package back to DHL and explain and not have to pay to have it shipped again because it was their fault for not correctly reading the correctly written address?
I’ve returned a package last JANUARY (yes 5 months ago) to oura ring company (it was a wrong size) dropped off the package in Canada and neither the company knows the whereabouts of this nor the tracking number doesn’t exist? So if they never received this what happened with this waybill? I put a claim on amex
Hey I have ordered book form anybook com. Shop is placed in UK, destination address in Poland. Between UK-DE package went fast. But after it was taken by the German DHL it got stuck in this country. last update was in April 22nd

Basically, the title. 3 packages, all from different vendors, been sent to me. They've all arrived at Ludwigsfelde on 13.05.2026, all 3 look the same as the one shown on the screenshot.
We've been contacting support, but have only received "wait for additional couple of days, check the current status to see updates".
Can their backlog be this bad?
We've received everyday updates, claiming that "expected delivery" will be on 13.05, (then nothing on 14.05, due to public holiday), then expected delivery was on 15.05, then on 16.05, now it gets no updates as for expected delivery.
There was a way to request delivery on specific day, so after waiting all this time, I've scheduled it on 19.05(today), no updates yet.
The worst part is - I live near Ludwigsfelde, it's like a 20 minutes bus ride. And I can't go there and take everything, because it's a "packstation", not a "pick-up centre"
Any ideas on what can be done in this case?
Hi everyone. I shipped the package on April 27th, it arrived on the 29th to destination, but the customer sent it to a locker; it stayed there for 8 days "Available for pickup", then started moving, attempted delivery at home address, but nothing, he doesn't respond to me and neither to Vinted (item sold through that platform). On Friday the status finally changed and is now "Shipment on hold". How long before it will be sent back to me? Is there anything I have to do?

Ordered something, it was supposed to come in today, but the relay point closed before they could do anything, didn’t provide me with any details whatsoever, had to go on the website and talk with the chabot to finally know that apparently the relay point was closed ( it wasn’t) and they’re actually shipping it tomorrow, like what..??????

I regularly order electronic parts from Digikey US to Malta (unfortunately to Malta Digikey only ships from the US) and shipped through DHL Express, for electronic design prototyping purposes. These orders are by their nature a list of many different line items, but each line item is of very low value, it is not uncommon that I have 50+ line items in a single order.
On a recent order with 50 line items and a total material value of just $203 I was charged a total of Eur166 by DHL, out of which Eur113 were multi-line-entry fees!! Ultimately no duty was payable!! That is I paid Eur113 just for DHL to tell me that I don't need to pay duty on this order!
Apart from this there is the usual Eur15 VAT deferment charge.
I just cannot understand the logic behind such disproportionate fees when compared to shipment value and payable duty...
EDIT: Just wanted to clarify that I fully understand how these are calculated and I fully understand the underlying VAT and Customs laws. My questions/complaint is not why am I being charged this amount but rather the fact that I find these fees highly disproportionate, particularly in today's age where most of this processing is probably automated.
Hi! I found that my parcel had apparently left Frankfurt on LX86 after the trucking route 6311, though after arrival at the airport (I assume Montreal) there hasn't been an update yet. I assume it will soon be passed to local post aka Canada Post and I will be notified, but I'm not sure how long that takes (it has been 3 days) and I haven't received a waybill or an estimated delivery date at all, meaning I have no clue when it might arrive..which makes it difficult to plan around. I thought all packages internationally would at least have some estimation?
The flight also seems overly short, unless that's due to time zones making it seem shorter than it actually is.
Any clarification would be lovely, thanks! I'd like to at least know if things are alright and when to expect it.
Ordered a pair of eyeglasses from the US via EBay which were shipped directly by EBay themselves. Package arrived in U.K. Customs (Heathrow) on the 1st of May. Until now I haven’t received any request for customs duties or taxes, nor has there been any update or movement of the package.
I’ve tried contacting DHL Express E-Commerce directly several times online and have yet to receive any response.
Apologies for my ignorance but I thought these fees were related to the tariffs which were deemed illegal and are being undone? Why am I still being charged $30 duty fees?
