Did anyone’s PA address their childhood sexual abuse? How did that go?

My partner was molested dozens of times when he was 6, which led to the whole porn addiction / secrecy / other addictions (alcohol, Kratom, nicotine)

Horrible trajectory obviously. Just wondering if anyone’s partner addressed the root trauma, and saw real recovery from years of addiction?

Wondering if so, how did it go? How long did they take it for? Any success stories? My partner is trying to get a prescription for both to help with his issue.
