What's actually going on? I'm so confused

I've been trying to keep up with the news, but I feel like every time I check, there's another headline about the US and Iran. I thought things were supposed to be de-escalating at one point, but now it seems like they're back to striking each other again. Am I missing something?

The reason I'm asking is because we own a business, and it's been hit pretty hard by everything that's been going on.

Anyone still running Meta/FB lead gen for real estate? Restarting after pausing since March

We switched off all our Meta ad spend back in March when things got rough in the region, and we're only now looking at turning lead gen back on. Before we do, wanted a real read from the agents here in the market rather than guessing:

  • Are your Meta lead campaigns still pulling, or has cost per lead crept up since the start of the year?
  • How's lead quality right now — actual buyers picking up, or mostly time-wasters and explorers?
  • Are you keeping focus on UAE/GCC audiences, or back to international (India, Pakistan, Europe, etc.) like before?

Hey everyone, hoping someone here has been through this and can help.

I use Facebook exclusively for running ads. no posting/groups or anything else personal. Out of nowhere, Facebook prompted me to add a passkey. There was no way to skip it, so I went through with it. It then asked for a face scan as part of the verification. I submitted it, and a couple of hours later I got hit with a "permanently disabled" saying I violated community guidelines and no way to appeal.

I have absolutely no idea what I did wrong. My account is purely for ads management.

Here's what's at stake:

- Access to multiple ad accounts and business portfolios

- Business pages

- I need to understand what triggered this so a new account doesn't get the same treatment

I know I can create a new account and have my manager re-grant access to our internal assets, but personal ad accounts and pages, I can't just recreate those.

Has anyone successfully appealed a permanent disable that happened after this passkey/face scan flow?

Any advice on the appeal process or who to contact would be hugely appreciated.
