Mine is going great. I played a stupid game and won a stupid prize! Last night, I went for a cruise with my targa top off, and I guess when I got home and put it back on, I somehow forgot to lock it in. Today, I went for another cruise and heard wind noise and what sounded like strong gusts outside. I didn’t put two and two together until it was too late. Was at 50 mph and the top flew off…. I will never forget looking in my rear view and seeing it fly up in the air and crash to the ground, in what felt like slow motion. Miraculously, it didn’t hit the back of my car, and fortunately, there was no car behind me. But the top got completely scuffed and chipped and scratched. Took it to a body shop to see if anything could be done, and they said I just need to buy a replacement. Unfortunately, I am not seeing any replacement top in riptide blue metallic, my color, and the only good option at this point is the transparent top. It may actually end up looking good as a black contrast against the rest of the car, so we’ll see. Happy Hump Day!
