Can you please give me the pros and cons of both?

Man sucks last year I had a email quote for around $900 for dual clutch trans filter change and the 45k fluid exchange and internal filter change

Now they updated price to 2k :(

Priced it around and that’s the best deal I can find

Many charging 2600 and include fuel injector cleaning service or something that isn’t on the manual to do at this is interval or ever really

But anyways painful- guess time to pay to play again just like the tires prices

Heard squeaking noises every maybe minute or so when driving so I took my car in and they inspected it and said it was the valves in the muffler and replaced it for me. Anyone had this issue before, haven’t seen it listed once online. 2025 1lt 2000kms

I’m in the market for a grand sport and was going to order one but I found basically the exact spec I was going to order at a dealer but unfortunately it’s almost 800 miles away and flying out there and driving it back isn’t really feasible. The dealer said they would pay a third party shipping company to ship it directly to my house. Has anyone had this done before? I’ll be honest, I’ve never bought a car without seeing it in person, especially not one that costs $115k.

So I guess the first thing is, what shipping company should I be working with? I think it needs to be enclosed. I’m sure the dealer has a cap on the shipping cost but I got one quote for enclosed shipping from montway for $1750 and they said they’d pay that. Is there a better company I should look into? Also anything I should be aware of when buying a car sight unseen from a dealer so far away?

I’ve spent a week searching chevy’s inventory and every dealer within a 350 mile radius and this is the only one close enough to the spec I want to be worth it

Edit: thanks for the help everyone, I found a dealer 500 miles closer with an in-transit grand sport with almost the same spec so I put a deposit down and will hopefully be able to pick it up in the next couple weeks

I hear the C8 oil change is relatively simple but I’m lazy and it’s hot out. Curious where you folks are taking your C8’s? Trying not to go back to the stealership.

I'm just about to pass the ballpark 3000 km break in period On my c8. I've heard differing opinions when it comes down to when to take it in for your first service. Some say 800 km some say stick to the regular warranty schedule. I plan on bringing it down to a beginners drag event in a few weeks. Would it be ideal to have my first service done before that?

2023 C8 Stingray, non-Z51, ~5k miles.
This morning I got “Service Brake Assist” and “Service ESC.” The braking was noticeably reduced too: hard braking felt much weaker than normal and the car took significantly longer to stop.
I restarted the car multiple times and both warnings keep coming back.
My bumper-to-bumper warranty expired last month.
Anyone had this exact combination on a C8? What ended up being the issue, and how much was the repair?

I have a 24 stingray under 10k miles and reached out to MacMulkin for extended warranty info. The prices they came back to me with seem way too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with their warranties and anything I should be aware of if I buy? I’m just double checking my bases because it seems way too cheap to be this good.

Wondering how different the driving experience is when comparing the Z06 to a ZR1.

I’m not a track guy, just a normal driver who carves the occasional canyon and drives from the burbs to the city and loves his Z06.
