Porsche CPO 718 Boxster or Car Bravo CPO C8 2LT HTC?

Difficult choice since both have different upsides.

Boxster has heritage, prestige, brand, lightweight, more affordable to buy, but low power comparatively whereas C8 has presence, panache, personality, power, but too many quality/ transmission issues. Thoughts?

Considering buying a 2022 or newer C8 but questions about quality issues.

Can anyone share their experiences? If I maintain the car regularly is it likely to hold up well? What are the most common pain points to know before buying?

CPO but accident & significant damage history. Worth the risk?

Found a CPO listing for a 2019 718 Boxster with a nice spec but its history is concerning. The Carfax shows that it had an accident back in 2020 where the rear end was damaged - “significant damage to the rear end, airbags did not deploy”. It has 33k miles and is listed for $52k.

The car is a Porsche CPO, the accident is clearly well in the past and the car has been driven all these years since. That said, the most critical components - Engine etc are in the back and it makes me nervous to think that I may be buying someone else’s money pit.

Anyone have any advice or suggestions?
