Just installed a Jogon Carbon Fiber X Brace. Love how these look! I put some reflective heat tape on the back to help protect the carbon fiber.

Meet my ‘72 Jazz, see below for the history behind it.

So meet my 1972 Fender Jazz. I acquired it around 15 years ago. The original owner was in Southern California. He play the heck out of it for many years. Then it was put up for sale at CowTown Guitars in Las Vegas. It was then purchased by a player in Chicago who I bought it from.

Sometime in the late 70’s the original pots were changed. Around 8 years ago I changed them to period correct CTS pots with vintage style wiring. Last year I had Tom Brantley (who does Geddy Lee’s pickups) rewound the original pickups. Other than that, the Bass is completely stock.

Very lightweight for a 70’s Jazz and sounds and plays amazing! I even have the original hardshell case and owners manual!

The Honda TPMS is so lame. Doesn’t tell you the PSI or which tire is low when you get a warning. Very inconvenient! So picked up this on Amazon, $35. So far seems to work good. Plugs into the 12V outlet which I never use.
