vyvanse vs. adderall
Has anyone tried both adderall ir and vyvanse? If so what was your experience with each and which do you prefer? I’m currently on adderall xr (30mg twice a day) and on the fence about trying vyvanse. The adderall works great at its peak but the crash and appetite suppression are AWFUL. As soon as it wears off I almost feel manic. A minor inconvenience makes me extremely hostile, i get scatter brained, and my anxiety goes through the roof. I also find it hard to stomach more than one full meal a day. My psychiatrist mentioned vyvanse often provides better and smoother coverage than my current prescription, but was concerned that it could possibly intensify my appetite suppression. I’ve heard people say that the appetite suppression goes away but mine has not changed since I started it 4 months ago. I’d love to hear your experiences with both medications or if you’ve had similar symptoms as mine what helped.
