Driving shoes

Does anyone wear shoes with arch support while driving?

I think I’m overextending/overusing my arch while driving. It’s resulting in mild plantar fasciitis that I would like to resolve before it gets worse. I only have pain in my right foot. I have tried adjusting my seat many different warts no avail. I’m not sure what else to do. If you wear specific shoes for driving, do you have recommendations?

Thank you!

Resource Request

Hi all,

I have been offered a position at my current small private school as a toddler enrichment teacher and librarian for the whole school (12 months-8th grade). I might also be teaching art and/or SEL classes to 3 and 4 year olds (whatever fills up my schedule to make this a full time job. lol). I’ll be teaching art, STEM, and SEL (plus library) to toddlers who will be aged 12 - 35 months in September. I am looking for books or other resources to help me teach these enrichment classes in the most developmentally appropriate way possible.

Some background/possible FAQs:

I have a bachelors degree in ECE, an infant and toddler Montessori certification, and many years of experience with infants through 2nd grade. I most recently have been a lead toddler teacher for 3 years following my Montessori training.

This is an accredited Montessori school.

The classes are 30 minutes long. It could be a combination or large group and small group.

I don’t necessarily feel all these enrichment classes are necessary or beneficial, but they are going to be given regardless of whether I take this position or not, just by multiple different, less qualified people. That’s why I’m looking to approach them in the most developmentally appropriate way possible.

Thank you!

Elementary and Middle School Librarian

Hi all,

i just found this sub as I am looking for some advice. I am a teacher with early childhood experience and degree/certifications, so under 4th grade, but I am really most comfortable lesson planning for 1st grade and under. I am being offer offered the role of librarian at my small private school. I‘m wondering what if typically covered in library classes for elementary and middle schoolers?
