Should I switch character
I got into Guilty Gear Strive when it first came out, and recently I've been getting back into it. I've been playing Millia and I absolutely love her playstyle, but man, I get so frustrated sometimes.
It feels like I have to win neutral, run my mix, and land like 5–6 combos just to get the same amount of damage that a Sol player gets from one 4-hit combo. I know that's kind of the tradeoff with Millia, but it can feel really discouraging when I make several correct decisions and my opponent gets huge damage off a much simpler conversion.
Maybe this is just a rant after a bad session, but it's gotten me thinking about switching to Elphelt. She seems to have the speed and mobility that I enjoy, while also having more rewarding damage.
For people who have played both characters: should I stick with Millia and invest more time into learning her optimal routes and setups, or does Elphelt sound like a better fit based on what I'm looking for?
