Help: Dying Curly Hair Vibrant Color
Hi everyone!! I’m looking for advice on dying curly hair vibrant colors! I want to do it DIY (bleaching included) but I’m open to going to a salon for bleaching if people think that’s a safer option.
Background: I’ve been wanting to dye my hair a mix of vibrant colors for 2+ years. I know with my hair color (dark brown) I would need to bleach my hair. But, every time I am close to committing to the change, I back out because I’m worried that bleaching will cause a lot of damage to my hair.
I’ve been debating doing full bleaching or just highlights because I know that bleach (if touching the roots of hair) can damage hair follicles and alter curl pattern permanently. I really love my curly hair, and I really want to avoid damaging it severely at all costs.
I’m attaching the inspo pictures so people can get a sense of the color I’m looking for! I’m also going to include a picture of my hair as well!
Please let me know if you have any tips, tricks,
after dyeing product recommendations, etc.
