Looking for study buddies!!!

Hey there . . I've just started using Claude Code heavily over the last week and I'm blown away at its capabilities. I want to translate this into real value for my life and work by building fully autonomous agents (i.e., self-prompting 24/7)...

A few specific questions for anyone that has successfully deployed some:

1. What VM would you recommend for hosting it securely?
2. What handles the actual prompting (i.e., what keeps firing the agent)?
3. Anything else to look out for or other recommendations for what works well?

I have some time off of work and am working on a few projects to a) upskill on AI and b) make my life easier.... so far I made:

1. Relationship manager app - reminds me to reach out to a friend before their birthday, when I haven't talked to them in a while, etc
2. Weekend planner - suggests new restaurant to try out and museum etc in the same location / general area . . . plans out optimal times and links to reserve, etc
3. Automated a high volume inbox I was managing at work
4. Highly customized personal daily briefing sent to my email every morning with AI news, priorities for the day, etc
5. ?? what are y'all working on ??
