COD air pod maxs
They were talking on the podcast how Mike got Air pod maxs s from the cod event, and blessing going “that can’t be ok” which had me thinking do they no longer consider these reviewers journalists and they are “influencers” now. That seems like a very lavish give away on top of the trip out and all the other goodies they used for marketing. Comes away to me as a buy off and really puts salt on anything they say about cod now and being excited for it. Not saying it’s wrong for Mike to take it. But I feel that should be disclosed if they’re getting a bunch of expensive swag at the end of a review event. I know $500 would really make me talk glowingly about a game that’s the same as it’s always been and over hype it. Do you think it takes away some of the integrity of reviews knowing this? Should they disclose if they’re given some lavish swag at an event? Just something I was thinking about
