Hey, been trying to sort out tours and activities for clients and honestly it’s turning into a bigger headache than I expected.

I’ve been looking for a proper travel agency style setup, something that can help with good tours, local options, and just make the whole thing smoother for clients without me having to chase everything down myself.
for context, i’m not really after some random booking site, more like something that can handle the travel side a bit more like a real agent would, if that makes sense. just want to avoid piecing together stuff one by one every time.

If anyone’s found a decent way to do this, or a service that actually helps with bookings and planning without being a pain, I’d love to hear it.

Travel agents i wanna know if you relate to me or not. So i help people plan trips for a living. A lot of my work is not just booking flights and hotels, it is talking them through airport scams, figuring out how much luggage they can realistically handle, making sure they understand when any sort of village is actually a premium resort with qr code gates and weird rules.

Clients seem to love the experience part. They send long messages after they get back talking about how the hike i suggested ended up being their favorite or how the small town stop on the way to the big city felt like the real highlight. Some even say things like you saved our trip when i reroute them around a storm or fix some schedule mess. But when i look at the numbers, the trips where i do the most hand holding tweak every detail and help them navigate all the stuff that does not show up on booking sites pay me almost the same as the easy ones where someone just wants a short city break and picks whatever hotel is closest to the station.

I am wondering if travel agents here have found ways to increase earnings from client experiences specifically.

I am trying to help a friend handle tour bookings for a long time now and it turns into chaos fast because of messages everywhere or calendars out of sync then people asking the same questions three times and then some random last minute change that nobody sees until it's already a problem

I spent one evening watching them do it all manually and honestly it looked miserable like what year is it, of advance right and we think there has to be a platform that makes this less painful without turning it into a giant setup project.
