I'm a 41yo transguy who's been ttc with my boyfriend for the last 5 months. We assumed he was good cause he's a healthy 28yo and we were so focused on all the risks related to my age and hormones and everything.

We just found out that he has no sperm yesterday. We're both pretty devastated. Our midwife who was about to perform an IUI referred him to a reproductive endocrinologist but I'm feeling like there's not much hope considering no sperm were detected at all.

We're talking about a known donor but not sure if we should keep any hope alive for his fertility. Everything's just kinda blown apart for us and any different perspectives are welcome
