I’ve tried a bunch of Elomi bras in 42 H and 44 GG including Morgan, Zarla, Cate Allure, Charley (4380, not the molded cup one), and Teagan.

In general the 42 H all fit “better” than 44Gg. The gore tacks in them all. The Cate allure is definitely the wrong shape. The others all have a similar problem of some level of gapping near the straps/ armpit. Some are better than others. From best fit to worst fit I’d rank them

The Zarla in 42 H fits the best, the gore tacks and the band is comfortably snug, but there is a little gapping around the straps near my armpits still. Is this a solvable problem? Is the cup too big or is it a shape mismatch? I’m afraid a smaller size will cause spillage closer to the gore as that part of the cup seems full.

It doesn’t bother me a ton but if it’s pointing to a bigger issue that’s is going to maybe make the bra uncomfortable long term I will keep looking.

Open to suggestions of what else to try here.

Remeasuring after not buying new bras for a while. I'm getting 42F / maybe 44GG from the calculator. I ordered a bunch of new styles (mostly Elomi) to try in those sizes.

Only after doing all of that did I go look at the Elomi bra to compare.

My best fitting bra is an Elomi 4111BAK (which I think is the Morgan side support) in a 42FF. It tacks properly, no spillage or gaping. My only complaint is that after several hours of wear it's like there's downward pressure that digs into my torso/ belly or whatever from the front band / wire. Maybe the band is too small or I need to adjust the straps (I just notice they were all the way loose). I can take pics in this if needed.

Should I order some more bras in 42FF? Does the Morgan run big or small or anything? What else might I want to try if the Morgan is an almost?

Measurements are: Underbust: loose 113; snug 111; tight 107; Standing 136; Leaning 143; Lying 138. Am never confident I measure well.
