Advice on Harmony for a Rachmanioffish slow movement

Ive been practicing orchestration and harmony for a while now and i’m trying to get that really colourful and lush chromatic harmony but sometimes I just feel like it doesn’t sound right. The inspiration here is the adagio from Rach’s 2nd Symphony (this is just a rough start). It has the introduction/main theme and then a prolonged Clarinet solo. I hope I could get some feedback on the harmonic structure im using and the way i used chromatic notes in the strings to add colour in between strong beats, thanks.

Lex could have so easily have found out Clarks secret.

Lex could have simply just got one of his goons to place a listening device in a highly concealed location in Clarks kitchen. He kept talking about how much he wanted to know what it was throughout the show and this wouldn’t have been out of ordinary for lex considering the trap he set up at the start of season 5.

However, I obviously know why that this was avoided, would’ve been to basic lol.

I was at a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Pathetique recently and the conductor took the mic at the beginning of the piece to tell the crowd how he wanted people to clap and celebrate after the 3rd movements ecstatic ending. I was just thinking about how this is such a better alternative than being in anxiety gambling on whether the crowd is going to clap or not, because even just 1 or 2 scattered claps can ruin the moment is so much better to just guarantee an applause then start the final movement.
