My grass was looking fine at the beginning of May but now there’s many brown dead spots. Located in RI. I fertilized at the very end of April and haven’t since then. I have been watering enough (I think). When I dug up an area I didn’t see any grubs. First photo is today and second photo is just 2 weeks ago.

Any help or input on what is causing this is appreciated as it’s getting worse and I’m losing the progress I’ve made this year.
