Neglected the most in my family

I try not to feel too entitled but as the youngest of a large family I always felt like I got the short end of the stick and was mostly treated unfairly as compared to my siblings, especially by my mom - even as an adult.

For example, as a child I had severely misaligned teeth, which I was self-conscious about, and my dentist obviously recommended braces, but my mom talked me out of it, saying it won't matter when I'm older "since I'm a guy". The year before that, she happily paid for my older sister's braces even though her condition wasn't nearly as severe.

Even now as an adult every time I get into an argument or conflict with any of my siblings my mom literally always takes their side. When they're clearly in the wrong and she has no way to defend them, she'll find or make up an excuse, like "they're under a lot of pressure these days".

As a side note, I'm arguably the most successful in the family career-wise, yet she still treats me like an inferior.
