I’m not paying child support it’s to much
My ex-wife and I split, and the divorce came completely out of nowhere. We have four kids, and the divorce dragged on for a year because I fought her on everything. In the end, I kept the house since I owned it before we got married, while she was awarded primary custody and I got every other weekend with the kids.
The court ordered me to pay $3,400 a month in child support. After four months, I stopped paying because I felt the amount was impossible to keep up with. My ex threatened to take me back to court, and I told her that if she did, I’d terminate my parental rights so she’d be left raising all four kids on her own. She knew that wouldn’t be easy for her, and that was the last time she brought it up.
