Background:
I had a sewer backup at my home in Sunnyvale, CA. Called the city first — they confirmed the blockage is on my lateral line, not the city main. Hired a licensed plumber who hydrojettted and cleared the line including camera inspection.
What they found:
After jetting, they scoped the line and say there is an offset joint near the property line, located under my driveway (concrete). They’re recommending excavation to fix it.
