It was a genuine mistake and not deliberate. The signage said “10P” and then “phone or meter” in small print under it. Silly me thought 10hr free. I am travelling and this signage is different to what I’m use to (in my local area they just say “ticket” under it). I always pay parking tickets and have never had a fine. Has anyone been in a similar position and how lenient are they?
