Corrie’s obsession with creating another ‘free Deidre’ campaign
Those who have watched tonight’s episode will know that Summer has been charged with Theo’s murder.
It appears to me that the writers are obsessed with trying to re-create a free Deidre campaign and want people to campaign for Summer to be released just like they did with ‘Free Deidre’. They also attempted this when Roy was wrongly put in prison for Lauren’s disappearance.
The writers need to understand that it’s not 1998 anymore and the campaigns won’t make national press anymore
