NT Land in Kuala Penyu
Hello, I need to ask some things to the community here.
I was born and raised in Brunei, my mother is Sabahan and my dad is Bruneian. My mother owns land in Kuala Penyu, Sabah. From what I understand, my siblings and I may not be eligible to inherit the land because it is Native Title land. The land is approximately 6 acres. Before making any decisions, I'd like to better understand the legal procedures and the current market.
So my questions are:
Is there a way for my mother's children to inherit the land?
Other than selling, what can we do to the land that would benefit us?
If we do sell the land, how much would be the appropriate price?
Who can we sell it to?
Has anyone here gone through this process before? If so, what would you recommend we do?
