My monitor has been experiencing screen flickering issues. The flickering is occurring even when i’m not doing anything which suggests it may not be directly related to the anything i’m doing. The issue has been ongoing and is severe enough that I’ve considered restarting my computer to try to resolve it. At this stage, the cause is unclear and could be related to the monitor, display cable, graphics drivers, Windows display settings, or the graphics card.

I’ve made sure it’s all plugged in, i’ve hard reset it, i’ve gone back an update, i’ve fully updated it. It’s a fairly new monitor so i’m not sure why it’s happening. I’ve tried everything in my power to fix the issue and it’s not working / wanting to be fixed

Just as i’m posting it, it’s been flickering every 5 seconds for the past 20 minutes
Restarting doesn’t do anything.

I’m hoping someone has experienced something similar because I’m at a loss.

I had a Mirena IUD inserted in 2024 and around that time I started noticing a really strong smell from my downstairs area after months of bleeding.

The best way I can describe it is a cat pee/ammonia, musty disgusting gross everything combined and it’s not nice.

The weird thing is that it doesn’t seem to be coming from inside my vagina. It feels more like it’s coming from the outside area (vulva/groin area). The smell is there constantly, even straight after showering, and it’s been ongoing for over 2 years now.
I had my Mirena removed on 18 May 2026 because I wondered if it could be related, but the smell is still there.

I’ve been checked for BV and other common infections and haven’t been told I have anything. My GP also hasn’t been able to notice the smell during appointments, but both my boyfriend and I can smell it, so I know I’m not imagining it.

I’ve tried taking antibiotics for BV and that originally worked for a day or two but it came back. I’ve changed to fully cotton underwear and changing TWICE a day, changing pads every 2-3 hours and also tried the probiotics Lemme Purr and no difference. Now I’ve been on Depo for 3 weeks now and i’ve bled for 10 days and still spotting like yellow stuff…and the smell is still there :((

Things I’ve noticed:
Smell is present every day.
Smells like cat urine/ammonia.
Persists after showering.
Seems external rather than internal.
Started after Mirena insertion
Still present after Mirena removal.
No confirmed BV or other infection.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or eventually found out what was causing it? I’m interested in hearing any possibilities because this has been affecting my confidence and quality of life for a long time.
