Iron-on vinyl separating from adhesive
I'm having issues with my iron-on projects: My shirts come out fine in the beginning, but after some months the vinyl starts to separate from the adhesive. It's happening to a lot of my projects, but not all of them. First, I thought it was an issue with the vinyl brand I'm using, but it's happening with a lot of different HTV. I've stopped putting the shirts in the dryer, but I'm not sure that is really making a difference.
Any idea why this is happening? Is it a problem with the material or my handling of it? I'm using a Cricut EasyPress. Is ist the dryer? Or is the design too delicate? I've noticed that especially the finer parts are separating.
If there is no way to prevent this - how can I salvage my projects? The adhesive is sticking firm to the fabric, can I somehow get it off? Or can I try to press the same design over the adhesive and will this work?
Thank you for any help - I'm quite disheartened and reluctant to start new projects if I can't prevent this from happening...
