2003 Toyota Celica GTS M/T swapped, limp mode problem
So basically, my car has been having a limp mode problem. The code that gets read on the diagnostic tool is P2102. Before I had this code, I replaced the clutch. (not sure if does anything but including it just incase someone knows this affects anything) I spent a lot of time researching for a solution but most of them leads to a faulty throttle body or faulty wiring. I also already did the "throttle relearn" process on my car.
At this point I already spent a month trying to fix this car on my own, so I ended up taking it to the shop. The guy there did his diagnostic and told me that he checked all the throttle body, voltage, and wiring was all good but the ECM was going bad and said I needed to replace it. He told me this was a extremely rare problem and finding a part for manual transmission specifically was hard to get.
I found a few ECM/ECU for the 2003 Toyota Celica GTS M/T on eBay, but is it trustworthy? Is this car still worth fixing? I love this car a lot and investing a ton into it, I'll take any advice you guys give me. ❤️
