Hello everyone! I am writing a short ethnography for a class about an online community/space and since shooting film photography is a hobby of mine, I wanted to do my mini-ethnography on r/AnalogCommunity! I'd appreciate it if I could get some responses to this short questionnaire! All names will be kept anonymous as well.

  1. Can you describe how you first got into film photography and what kept you interested in it?

  2. How would you describe your personal relationship with film photography today (as a hobby, practice, identity, etc.)?

  3. What has been one of the most meaningful or memorable experiences you've had with film photography?

  4. How has being part of the film photography community (online or in-person) influenced your experience with shooting film?

  5. What do you think is most important about film photography to you personally, and why do you continue doing it?

  6. How has being a part of r/AnalogCommunity affected your experience with film photography?

Thank you!
